Introducing a NEW location you can view K Photo and Design’s artwork.  Baby Snuggles 3D/4D Ultrasound facility gives you the opportunity to see your baby before he/she arrives!  They offer various different packages allowing you to hear your baby’s heartbeat, gender determination, you can even bring home your ultrasound pictures!  I love matching up the ultrasound photos with a baby’s newborn images to see the resemblance.  They also make a pretty nice prop to use for maternity photos.  Just saying. So if you’re thinking of finding out if you are carrying a boy or girl, give Baby Snuggles a call – tell ‘em I sent you!  Smile

Expectant mommies are best photographed at around the 34th-38th week, before you start to feel “too-pregnant”.  You will have a nice round bump by this time depending on if you are on your first, second or even third baby.  And don’t forget to book your newborn session!!  New babies are best photographed within the first week.  They are so teeny and fresh at that point – you don’t want to miss it!  That is why is it best to reserve your spot while you are still pregnant.  Please contact me for more info: info@k-photo.ca  I can’t wait to hear from you!! Every new and pregnant mother needs to visit Lorraine at Maternity Essentials.  She offers amazing products and classes.  And you can see her at the upcoming Baby Show on September 28th and 29th, 2013.  She is one of the many speakers you may see there.  Her talk is “Can’t Wait for Baby: Understanding Labour Induction”.  I hope you are able to get to the Baby Show, and if not…please visit her at Maternity Essentials at 250 Greenbank Road.  You can tell her I sent you!  And you just may spot some of my artwork on her walls while you’re there. I had the opportunity to meet up with Ottawa author Barbara Sibbald a few weeks ago.  She is working on a new book and it’s almost ready to share with the world!  It’s called “Kitchen Chronicles”; and I was told it was a little steamy!  Winking smile

I’m always up for a new challenge, and was very excited one of my good friends asked me to design a logo for her business.  And trust me, only a good friend will pay you in cheese – seriously!  Winking smile

She has worked at the same flower shop for YEARS, and finally Trish and her hubby bought the business a couple years ago.  They have now decided to drop the chain and do it on their own with a brand new name: THE BLOOM BOX.  This opens up endless possibilities that they were never able to pursue before.  I am SO excited to see what they will be up to now!

I was lucky enough to be visiting my hometown of Brandon, Manitoba when the sign went up on the front of the flower shop.  I must say, EXTREMELY cool to see something I made so BIG!

And the delivery van was all dressed up too!
