I had the opportunity to meet up with Ottawa author Barbara Sibbald a few weeks ago. She is working on a new book and it’s almost ready to share with the world! It’s called “Kitchen Chronicles”; and I was told it was a little steamy!

I’m always up for a new challenge, and was very excited one of my good friends asked me to design a logo for her business. And trust me, only a good friend will pay you in cheese – seriously! 
She has worked at the same flower shop for YEARS, and finally Trish and her hubby bought the business a couple years ago. They have now decided to drop the chain and do it on their own with a brand new name: THE BLOOM BOX. This opens up endless possibilities that they were never able to pursue before. I am SO excited to see what they will be up to now!
I was lucky enough to be visiting my hometown of Brandon, Manitoba when the sign went up on the front of the flower shop. I must say, EXTREMELY cool to see something I made so BIG!
And the delivery van was all dressed up too!
