Record snowfall AND a snowday?  The perfect opportunity to bribe my children to venture out into this winter wonderland.  Sitting at my desk watching those perfect fluffy snowflakes fall, I knew we had to hurry up to get out there.  Kids…not so fast, OR enthusiastic as I was.  I’m waiting for them at the door with my gear as they are getting ready.  I yell up at them “HURRY UP!!  YOU’RE MISSING IT!!!!”  My son wanders over to the door and says “Wow, Mom.  You are clearly insane.”  Haha!  And that’s what you have to do sometimes to get those perfect shots.  Oh, and offer donuts. 

Okay, clearly I had a little trouble in choosing my favourites. Snow had stopped by the time we had found a location we could park at.  As most parking lots were not cleared at all.  But just as we were about to leave the snow started up again.  So I did manage to get a few with the snow actually falling.  So I’m pretty happy about that.  Although, I just love shooting in fresh snow.  It’s a beautiful backdrop for sure!
