Baby face – Ottawa baby photographer

I had so much fun with this sweet baby girl.  Oh, what we will do for a smile!  I swear the song: “Who let the dogs out” has been tarnished for me forever.  Funny enough – I think she’s a cat person.  Winking smile  But oh well, it got the smiles.  And what a beautiful smile she has.  I, of course have a few I’d love to share.  Smile

Santa baby – Stittsville baby photographer

(I know…it seems as if I am VERY late posting this.)  I was extremely excited to hear of this baby boy arriving Christmas morning!  I mean, what better gift could there possibly be?  A few complications left him in hospital a little longer than expected.  But he is now a very happy, healthy, chubby baby boy!  And SUPER adorable!!  His big sisters just adore him.  And Mom and Dad were so happy to have their little family all home together.  If you want to take a peek at their maternity session, click here.  Open-mouthed smile  (BTW: I LOVE his flirty smile!!)

Fight those winter blahs – Ottawa family photographer

What a year for a New Year! – from K Photo and Design

Fall family fun – Ottawa family photographer

With so much rain this fall, I was wondering if I would EVER have a chance to photograph this family.  Luckily we had a great window of opportunity, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day!  This little guy was so cute!  Just check out those big, bright eyes!

Happy Feet – Orleans baby photographer

The name of a familiar dancing penguin, the name my son wanted to give our baby girl (don’t worry…we didn’t listen to a 4 year old!), and also the nick name I’ll give this little guy.  He was so happy, and just LOVED those toes!!  4 month olds are not an age that I commonly have the chance to photograph.  But I just love ‘em!!  Babies are so full of expressions at this age, and this little guy did not disappoint.  Just look at those smiles!!  They grow so quickly, it makes me happy to capture these moments of discovery.  Smile

You may ask: “When is the best time to schedule a photo session for your baby?”  The answer may surprise you: ANYTIME!  Most parents feel the need to wait for that perfect moment, but in all reality there’s no reason to wait.  If your baby has just hit a milestone and you’d like to capture it with a photo session – just do it!  It doesn’t matter if they are 2, 3, 7, or 10 months old.)  Winking smile  I’m happy to hear from you!!

2×1=Happy Birthday! – Ottawa baby photographer

What a difference an entire year can make.  Especially when you’re a baby!  I have enjoyed watching these little twins grow this past year, and now they’re celebrating their FIRST birthday!  (So hard to believe!)  I hardly recognize them from their newborn session now.  But they are definitely growing into such little cuties!  I especially love their blue eyes.  I’m not sure if I’ve EVER seen such blue eyes!  Okay, I’m going to show off a few of my faves now.  Winking smile

Sweet baby curls – Ottawa baby photographer

This sweet little girl did NOT want to miss a thing!  At six weeks old, those big bright eyes were taking EVERYTHING in.  The expressions I got were priceless.  I loved her dark eyes and little chubs; but that curly hair – just way too adorable!
