Holy moly!! I had to check my calendar twice!! Could it really be TEN YEARS since K Photo and Design was born?!?! So many amazing families I have met, and stories I have heard. I have to admit…I do feel a little nostalgic when I look back at some of these photos from the past. From my first paying customer (well, his mom paid the bill…haha!) – to my most recent family that I have met up with every year for the last 4-5 years or so.

So in honor of this SPECIAL occasion….please, take the time to go through some of your old photos that maybe you didn’t get a chance to print at the time. And I will send them off to be professionally printed for a wicked discounted price!! (50% off any desk print up to 8×10, and 25% off any wall portrait sized 11×14-20×24.)

I am a firm believer in printing your memories. With all the advanced changes in technology…there is no telling when the media you choose to store your images will become obsolete. Or just plain fail you. #printwhatyouwanttopreserve

Images must be taken by K Photo and Design between 2009 and April 1st, 2019. If you can provide the image number, that would be great. If not, we’ll figure it out. Discount will be made from my 2017 prices. Please note: Your chosen images were put in storage. The images you did not order were purged. This offer expires: May 30th, 2019

If you want to keep up with all things K Photo and Design – please sign up on the mailing list on my website. Or continue to follow along on Facebook or Twitter. And of course…there’s always a good old fashioned email: info@k-photo.ca Currently booking new portrait sessions and events for Spring (if it every gets here) and Summer of 2019.

I think it’s still cold enough to make a Christmas post today.  And then I will be pretty much caught up too.  Yay!!  So this is the second little one I have photographed for this family.  They definitely have the recipe right for handsome boys.  (I can’t believe this was 3 years ago!) Big brother was definitely comfortable with helping me set up my gear.  And then I was treated to a Thomas video.  It was actually a commercial for some track that had a crash in it.  Every time the train crashed he would laugh.  Haha!  He was definitely a busy little boy – and difficult to get him IN the photos.  But we managed just fine.  His new baby brother did not have a care in the world though.  He was so easy going…and obviously LOVED having his photo taken.  So much so…I had a terrible time narrowing down my faves.  So this is what we got!

Every time I photograph a new baby, I am reminded of how teeny their little features are.  It is so important to capture those moments – as they grow up so darn fast!!  If you are thinking of having newborn photos taken, don’t wait!  It is best to reserve your spot while you are still pregnant.  Send me a message info@k-photo.ca  – I’d love to chat with you!

Wouldn’t it be lovely to have nothing to do without a care in the world? (Well, except when the food would appear in your bowl.) These two have classic lazy cat syndrome. They go from one resting place to another, eat, and then go back to resting. Their favourite spots include a freshly made bed, an empty box, the closet, the bathmat, or most of the time it’s the living room furniture. In fact they get quite upset when we have visitors and they get demoted to the floor (of all places!).

So these gals are the furry members of our family.  Aren’t they cute??  Have a great weekend everyone!
