SUPER excited to be displaying some K Photo and Design baby and belly wall art at the new UC Baby ultrasound location.  You can find them at 2068 Robertson Rd., Suite #110 Nepean, ON.  UC Baby® Ottawa is offers a very unique bonding 3D ultrasound experience to expectant families to cherish their special time. This service is offered by professional team using the revolutionary 3D and 4D Ultrasound technology.  They have many different packages available including photos/video – even heartbeat bears!  If you are expecting a new baby…this is the place to be.  Tell them I sent you!

Expectant mommies are best photographed at around the 34th-38th week, before you start to feel “too-pregnant”.  You will have a nice round bump by this time depending on if you are on your first, second or even third baby.  And don’t forget to book your newborn session!!  New babies are best photographed within the first week.  They are so teeny and fresh at that point – you don’t want to miss it!  That is why is it best to reserve your spot while you are still pregnant.  Please contact me for more info: info@k-photo.ca  I can’t wait to hear from you!! Open-mouthed smile

They don’t make them any sweeter than this. This tiny baby girl (only 5lbs plus some) fell asleep as I walked in and stayed that way the entire time! She barely fussed AND, I couldn’t believe it…did NOT pee on ANYTHING. That is just unheard of! As I was just packing up all my goodies she started to become more awake and alert. I took one look at her beautiful eyes and knew I had to photograph those beautiful peepers. So I made a quick set and popped her down for a few more shots. And I’m so glad I did. Her eyes were the most unusual colour I’ve ever seen, almost a blue-brown. I know, it sounds strange, but they were actually a really dark blue-brown colour! Okay, enough talk; introducing sweet little Madrid. (I just love her name too!)

Happy New Year everyone!  I’m not doing too bad, posting a New Year’s special on the 4th of January.  😉

So this is brand new for this year.   It’s a small calendar with 12 months and one image.  Great to use it at home, the office or even a gift for the grandparents!  Each calendar is 5×7 in size, mounted for durability and only $20!  However, for my lucky January and February clients, you will receive one on me.  My little welcome to 2011!  🙂

What a great year it has been for K Photo and Design!  So many wonderful clients have kept me busy and entertained over the last 12 months.  I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your business and wish you all the best in 2011!!

Also, if are not currently following me on facebook, please do!  (I often post my current specials there.)  Invite your friends too!!

This little guy just could not WAIT until Christmas. So much so, that he decided to arrive 4 weeks early! Mom was not quite prepared for this, but with kids, you just have to go with the flow. He was the absolute sweetest little thing though. And was definitely the smallest baby I’ve ever photographed; at measly 5lbs 13oz. Well I won’t go on any longer, I’m sure you want to SEE this little cutie. Introducing baby Cohen.
I also wanted to thank one of my WONDERFUL clients who was so kind to knit me a couple of little Christmas-themed hats.  (Including the one you see here.)  It’s not too late to take advantage of my newborn holiday special and try out these super cute little hats!  🙂

Don’t let this sweet little face fool you…he is  t-r-o-u-b-l-e!  He will definitely be keeping Mom and Dad on their toes.  I had a lot of fun, because this was my second time hanging out with these guys…check out their super cute maternity photos!

This little guy was hilarious!  After eating, pooping, cleaning, eating again, POOPING again, more cleaning, more snuggling he FINALLY fell into a nice slumber.  Well, wouldn’t you be tired after all of that??  He has such an angelic little face, that strawberry hair and those pouty lips…waaaay too cute!  But don’t take my word for it…see for yourself!  🙂

I TOTALLY fell in love with this little munchkin.  (Partly because she reminded me so much of my little one, I’m sure.)  But this little gal was sooo sweet and full of smiles too!  I had a terrible time trying to pick out some favourites, so this is the best I could do.  Here she is, introducing Miss Molly…

I’m so excited to have the opportunity to show off my images at the 3D Miracles Ultrasound Clinic in Ottawa.  It’s quite amazing to be able to have photos of your baby before they are even born.  The technology is crazy!  If you’re expecting; and are looking for a great place to find out gender, or just to SEE your little one –  the staff at 3D Miracles is awesome!  Be sure to ask about any maternity or newborn specials I may be offering.  I look forward to hearing from you!!

I had so much fun with these guys!  They were up for anything.  Unsure of what to wear, they had a pile of clothes pressed and ready to go.  When Mr. L pulled out a plaid shirt, my immediate thought was: “No way!”  It would be pattern overload!  But as I partnered it up with Mrs. L’s purple top, I thought it really worked for them.  They’re adorable, in fact!

I usually do a lot of black and whites when it comes to maternity, but these guys rocked in colour!  So there ya go!  🙂
