What a great year it has been for K Photo and Design!  So many wonderful clients have kept me busy and entertained over the last 12 months.  I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your business and wish you all the best in 2011!!

Also, if are not currently following me on facebook, please do!  (I often post my current specials there.)  Invite your friends too!!

I met up with fellow photographer Jen Howard of Jen Howard Photography this past weekend for some fun (but chilly) family photos.  Original plan was for both of our families to meet up and take turns capturing some much needed family memories.  Well, we had to go to plan B.  Unfortunately MY fam was malfunctioning at that time and some key members refused to wear pants.  So I brought along my awesome little assistant and away we went.  Her family was ready to go when we got there, so we grabbed a few quick snaps before we all froze to death.  And so I’m left with an IOU.  (Which I will collect SOMETIME, Jen.)  😉

But here’s Jen’s family.  She did well on coordinating their outfits too.  But seriously, aren’t her boys cute??

The leaves are so pretty right now, it’s the perfect time to get outside, have a little fun and have some nice photos taken at the same time.  With Christmas just around the corner, portraits are always a great gift idea.  *Hint, hint*  🙂

Holiday portrait special includes: 1 portrait session, 24 – 5×5 custom made folded greeting cards and $100 print credit.  All that for only $300!  As always, you will be able to view your images in your own password protected proof gallery.  Please contact to reserve your date today!

I was holding off on sharing this session from the summer, as Mr and Mrs “R” were off on vacation to celebrate their 35 wedding anniversary.  (Happy belated anniversary!)  But they’re back now, so here you go!

What a fun time this was!  These guys were crazy!!  (I enjoy anyone who loves to be in front of the camera.)  And being that this was my hubby’s family, I brought him along with me to “help”.  Secretly, I kind of liked asking him to do things, and then him actually doing them.  He was a GREAT help though, and you can tell by the beautiful images.  It’s all in the reflector, folks!  🙂

These wonderful gals are expecting their first AND second child this summer.  I can’t wait to meet the twins…and lucky me, I get to bring my camera!  Anyways, this session was so much fun for me.  Okay, maybe a little TOO much.  I shot way more than I normally do, and had trouble narrowing them down in the end.  (I guess it serves me right.)  The light was beautiful, and I just love the freedom of being outside.  Everywhere I turned; there was a completely new setting.  Okay…eeny meeny miny moe… AND now here’s a few for you to see!  🙂

I took this photo of my sister-in-law a few weeks back before all the yucky weather came our way.  She just had her birthday last week (don’t worry, I won’t say which one!) and thought she deserved a little spotlight.  I should add she does not feel she is photogenic…but I think this shot says otherwise. 🙂
