I don’t usually bring a lot of props along with me to a shoot. Usually something to sit on. A small chair. A blanket or two. Well…it just so happened that the sun was setting and the kiddies were feeling a chill in the air. I put the blanket around them as a joke. But I was unable to take it away!! They loved that silly old thing!!

Send me a message if you a looking for family photos of your own. Now booking summer 2024!

What can I say about these guys? They ALWAYS make me laugh. You can tell right away they are a pretty close family. But when asked if the kids get along like this at home? Dad pipes up and says “they’re besties”! Well, that inspired a little giggle. I think the kids were trying to put on a serious face for me!! Haha!

Do I only take photos in the fall? Heck – no! Send me a message and we can set up your family portrait session for this summer. I look forward to hearing from you!

This is the 10th season I have met up with this family. I can hardly believe it! But these guys always bring extra fun to the shoot. (Usually in the form of something furry.) They always say that babies and animals are the hardest thing to photograph – as they don’t always perform in the way you are hoping. But I just think they add a lot of laughs. Especially when this pup was acting as my assistant! She definitely got some great smiles from these guys.

Now booking for summer 2024. If you wish to add in your furry friend to a family session – just ask! I can usually accommodate your requests.

It’s pretty exciting – I am just finishing up this family’s newborn order! Stay tuned for more adorable photos. But back in the fall…before this little guy made his appearance – they were a family of 3. And how cute are they? I’m just gonna get right to it. Just a little selection to share with you today.

Send me a message if you’re looking for family photos.

I am WAAAAAY behind in posting anything. But today seems like a good day as any to get back into it. Fall mini sessions worked out perfectly! The weather is always a stressful addition to the planning. We were treated to just enough sun to make me happy. And ended up with a quick rainstorm right at lunch time. Then good to go for the afternoon. You couldn’t have asked for better, really. And just look at the result!

Wishing you a happy sunny day!! Please get in touch with me if you are looking to capture your family in a nice set of photographs.

I just adore these girls and their mom and dad. I always have a good time when we get together. And I must admit…things do get just a BIT silly. Haha! And this time was no different. Those smiles say it all.

Even though the coloured leaves are gone for this season – I still love to get outside. No time like the present to set up your Winter portrait session. I look forward to hearing from you! info@k-photo.ca

Happy New Year everyone!  I’m not doing too bad, posting a New Year’s special on the 4th of January.  😉

So this is brand new for this year.   It’s a small calendar with 12 months and one image.  Great to use it at home, the office or even a gift for the grandparents!  Each calendar is 5×7 in size, mounted for durability and only $20!  However, for my lucky January and February clients, you will receive one on me.  My little welcome to 2011!  🙂

What a great year it has been for K Photo and Design!  So many wonderful clients have kept me busy and entertained over the last 12 months.  I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your business and wish you all the best in 2011!!

Also, if are not currently following me on facebook, please do!  (I often post my current specials there.)  Invite your friends too!!

Christmas is quickly approaching.  And while I really don’t feel like I’m quite ready yet.  I just wanted to take the time to wish everyone a great Christmas, while sharing a few of my favourite holiday things.

Number one on the list: Christmas lights.  I LOVE to fill the house up with tones of coloured little lights.  If I could completely light the entire house with Christmas lights, I would.

Number two: Decorations.  Our tree is divided into sections.  My absolute FAVOURITE ornaments go front and center, right at the top.  Followed by the breakable ones we want to keep away from the kids and cats.  Then the bottom section is filled with wooden, material or plastic ornaments.  And a section that has come about over the last few years: the Santa section.  For some reason they feel ALL Santas must sit on the same branch.  But these two are my absolute favourite.  Totally home-made first Christmas ornaments for both my kiddies.

Number three: The Santa pants candy bowl.  And every year it is filled with Christmas M&M’s.  But seriously…it’s just the cutest bowl ever.

Number four: Fun Christmas activities.  We usually end up doing some sort of baking.  But this year we thought we’d try a Gingerbread house.  I have NO idea how these things are supposed to stay together.  And it didn’t quite turn out like the photo on the box.  But I love it!

Okay, and there’s opening presents and eating turkey and all that fun stuff too.  🙂

Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday season!!
