This little guy just could not WAIT until Christmas. So much so, that he decided to arrive 4 weeks early! Mom was not quite prepared for this, but with kids, you just have to go with the flow. He was the absolute sweetest little thing though. And was definitely the smallest baby I’ve ever photographed; at measly 5lbs 13oz. Well I won’t go on any longer, I’m sure you want to SEE this little cutie. Introducing baby Cohen.

I also wanted to thank one of my WONDERFUL clients who was so kind to knit me a couple of little Christmas-themed hats. (Including the one you see here.) It’s not too late to take advantage of my newborn holiday special and try out these super cute little hats! 🙂

December 17, 2010Portrait gift certificates – Ottawa photographer
December 13, 2010Time is running out for venturing out into those busy stores and malls. You COULD always stick to online shopping, but will your items arrive in time? Why stress out over these silly details when you KNOW a gift certificate for a portrait session will be the most unique gift your friends or family will receive this year.
Merry Christmas!!
Fun family on a chilly day – Ottawa family photographer
November 20, 2010I met up with fellow photographer Jen Howard of Jen Howard Photography this past weekend for some fun (but chilly) family photos. Original plan was for both of our families to meet up and take turns capturing some much needed family memories. Well, we had to go to plan B. Unfortunately MY fam was malfunctioning at that time and some key members refused to wear pants. So I brought along my awesome little assistant and away we went. Her family was ready to go when we got there, so we grabbed a few quick snaps before we all froze to death. And so I’m left with an IOU. (Which I will collect SOMETIME, Jen.) 😉
But here’s Jen’s family. She did well on coordinating their outfits too. But seriously, aren’t her boys cute??

November 19, 2010Cozy lil’ ones – Ottawa baby photographer
November 7, 2010I was very excited to meet up with my favourite little twins again. (Their mom’s too of course!) I can’t believe how much they’ve grown!!! It’s incredible how much difference a few short months can make. And in case you don’t believe me, take a look at their little newborn session back in July.
I really don’t know how these gals do it. One’s hungry, the other one is sleepy. One spits up everywhere and the other poops their pants. I’m sure it’s an everyday occurrence in their world, but a little crazy for me. None the less…I had a GREAT time. They are just too sweet for words! (And check out the awesome baby fashion!! JUST LOVE IT!)

October 19, 2010Don’t let this sweet little face fool you…he is t-r-o-u-b-l-e! He will definitely be keeping Mom and Dad on their toes. I had a lot of fun, because this was my second time hanging out with these guys…check out their super cute maternity photos!
This little guy was hilarious! After eating, pooping, cleaning, eating again, POOPING again, more cleaning, more snuggling he FINALLY fell into a nice slumber. Well, wouldn’t you be tired after all of that?? He has such an angelic little face, that strawberry hair and those pouty lips…waaaay too cute! But don’t take my word for it…see for yourself! 🙂

Family Rocks! – Ottawa family photographer
September 22, 2010I was holding off on sharing this session from the summer, as Mr and Mrs “R” were off on vacation to celebrate their 35 wedding anniversary. (Happy belated anniversary!) But they’re back now, so here you go!
What a fun time this was! These guys were crazy!! (I enjoy anyone who loves to be in front of the camera.) And being that this was my hubby’s family, I brought him along with me to “help”. Secretly, I kind of liked asking him to do things, and then him actually doing them. He was a GREAT help though, and you can tell by the beautiful images. It’s all in the reflector, folks! 🙂
A whole lotta family – Ottawa family photographer
September 6, 2010What a wild and wacky bunch these folks were. We had a grandma, moms, dads, kids, a baby, beautiful location and a partridge in a pear tree. We did so many combinations of groups, that I just could not post them all.
But here’s a little tidbit of what happened few weeks ago. Most importantly we got everyone in a photo together (it was QUITE the task), before the kids ran off anyways. I’m also glad we did manage to get a four generational shot. It’s so important to document a growing family…even if some of them are running around like crazy people! 🙂
Twice the sweetness – Ottawa newborn photographer
August 20, 2010I had been waiting very impatiently for these little ones to arrive. They would be my first set of twins I was to photograph; and I was so excited to be asked to do so. I met up with the mom’s-to-be back in May; here’s their maternity session.
But the day was finally here! I wasn’t sure what to expect. So I prepared with extra blankets and props as I figured I’d be dealing with two times the mess. But these two were little angels. They slept well, ate well. And the only mess ended up on Gramma!
I managed to pick a few of my favourites. Just 10 days old. But seriously, aren’t they the sweetest???
