I was so excited to hear these guys were going to be adding another member to their family.  They definitely know the proper ingredients for cute babies.  I have adored working with their first baby (well, she’s not a baby anymore! Haha!).  But so much fun to see her little personality coming out.  And those big blue eyes….seriously!!  Smile  Now it’s just a waiting game to find out if she is going to be playing with a new baby brother or sister.  As nobody knew (Which is so fun!!).  Although, my guess was a girl.  You will have to wait to find out if I was right though! Perhaps I’m a bit nosey…but I just love to find out about clients.  Their interests, activities, school, jobs…whatever they want to tell me.  I especially find it fun to find out about my little clients.  WELL….I opened the flood gates when somehow the word “Pokémon” got mentioned.  I’m not sure if this kid took a breath!!  He went on and on about his Pokémon cards, and this one and that one.  My kids were never really into card collecting.  And to be honest, I don’t really get it.  But when I asked him if he had “Pikachu” – it was like we had this weird connection.  I was speaking his language.  Haha!  It was quite funny.  I’m sure he’s was still talking about all his cards in the car on the way home.  As he just didn’t stop!  And this is why I know nothing else about this family – aside from their names…and they are pretty darn cute!  Ha!!  You can see that for yourself though.  Winking smile

Seems like forever since I have seen this amazing family. That sweet little baby is now a rambunctious little boy! I think we all got our exercise for the day.  Haha!  And while it was a little chilly (I guess we needed to run around a bit)…and the leaves didn’t cooperate as we would have liked.  It was sure fun to throw them around at each other!! Here’s a few of my faves to show off today.  Smile

Just finished adding my newest edition to my family photo wall.  A photo taken this summer at my Gramma’s 90th birthday party.  It was a spur of the moment type thing, as we were mostly all together.  (Minus my hubby, who didn’t manage to make the trip down with us this year.)  But yet we were able to choose clothing that kinda, sorta matched (or at least didn’t clash!)…and did this all by non-communication!!  It was a pure miracle!  Haha!  But as a photographer…I look at this photo and think – well, this could have been done better.  And yes…it definitely could have.  But sometimes you just have to step back and appreciated the fact that I captured a moment in time of our mostly coordinated togetherness.

My Family

And yes, it would have been SO EASY to just “photoshop” my husband into the mix.  But should it be done?  Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.  In my opinion, anyways.  We had joked about adding him in a Superman costume flying above us.  Haha!  But in my eyes; when you capture a moment in time…it should be just that.  Winking smile

As always, I am a HUGE advocate for displaying your family photos on your wall.  I am currently booking sessions into the Spring.  So let’s get something up on your wall!  info@k-photo.ca

I just love this boy and his crazy mop of hair!!  He has grown so much since our last visit.  Still as busy.  I won’t deny, I had quite the work out.  Haha!  But his personality is so funny!!  His Mom is pretty cute too!  Here are a few of my faves.  Smile

I have been photographing this little munchkin since she was a wee few days old.  And to see her grow into her little spunky personality has been so much fun!  I was so happy to be called upon to catch some lovely fall family photos of this clan.  Aren’t they just the absolute cutest?? I had sore stomach muscles after this session.  This family was a riot!!  I was dying over lil’ sis’s “poses” she was offering me.  Haha!  At one point she told her mother not to look “crazy” and then proceeded to demonstrate how she should pose.  It was the most unnatural, contorted pose I had ever seen!!  I was dying!!  And of course the rest of the gang kept me going with their jokes and stories.  As long as no one ended up in the water – I knew things were going well.  Haha! Smile

I know as Christmas approaches I can expect to receive my call to come and hang out with one of my fave families.  These kids crack me up!!  This time around while being entertained by the many stories J had for me…lil’ sis grabbed her own camera and started capturing some great moments, staring ME!  When she showed me the photos, I was surprised to see that with her little camera program she was able to dress me up in a tutu!  I looked GREAT!  Haha!  Anyways…here are some adorable shots – and glad we were able to convince the dog to hang out for a moment too!  Smile

This family is WAY too adorable!  I’ve been lucky enough to photograph both these kiddies from when they were only a few days old.  (Big sis and lil’ bro)  And it’s always a good time when we get together.  The knitted sweaters were the absolute BEST!!  I just love ‘em!! Open-mouthed smile
