All 10 days of him.  Nothing beats that new baby smell.  Nothing!  This little guy did NOT disappoint.  He was so sweet and squishy; I could have snuggled him all day long.  This little guy was not all that interested in napping though.  I guess there was just too many things going on.  He did NOT want to miss a thing!  But those big bright eyes….seriously!! I can’t believe I am seeing the word January on my calendar.  AND it’s 2016!!  How is that even possible?

I met so many great new families this year…and was able to keep in touch with my fave old ones.  As the kids get bigger, they just get goofier.  (Is that a word?)  All in all, a lot of fun.  I even managed to photograph TWO weddings in 2015.  Which is odd, since I don’t do weddings.  Haha!  I also had two families welcome baby number THREE to the bunch.  Feels pretty darn special to be a part of these growing families.  There’s nothing like that new baby smell.  Or the stories from the older siblings.  I have heard some pretty grand ones this year.  Haha!

Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2016!!  Filled with fun…and hopefully photos!  Camera  Can’t wait to hear from you!  Smile

Apparently girls are the way to go for this family.  I guess you can’t have too much of a good thing!  Poor dad, when those teenage years roll around though. Haha!  I have absolutely enjoyed spending time with this family since big sis was just a week old.  And managed to squeeze in a little visit a few months after baby #2 arrived.  Those girls are so cute and funny.  Making my job pretty darn easy.  I mean…who can resist all those blonde curls??  Wonder if lil’ sis will be the same?  Only time will tell. Winking smile

I am so lucky to see some families again and again. Even more exciting when baby number 3 is involved! So much fun hanging out with this crew. They always keep me on my toes!!  Crazy to think I’ve photographed this family since big sis was 10 days old.  And even how much big bro had changed too.  I definitely had a hard time picking favourites of this session.  But this is what I have to share with you today. Aren’t they adorable?? Smile

What can I say about this little cutie? I think the eyes say it all!  He was NOT very sleepy…but happy all the same.  And sometimes that’s just as good.  Open-mouthed smile

After much waiting….a new baby SISTER arrived!! And what a little sweetheart too!!  I was amazed at how much she looked just like her big sister as a newbie.  Like…identical!  (Crazy, right??)  I admired mom…able to make a grocery list, help her big girl with a puzzle, and feed a new baby all at once.  It’s all in the job, I suppose!  Luckily I was able to snag the wee little one to get my baby fix in.  Why do they always smell SO GOOD??  Haha!  Smile

Nothing is better than getting a call that there is a second baby on the way.  What better excuse could there be to get together again?  It had been four years since I saw this little guy…and he’s not so little anymore!  AND he was also going to be a BIG BROTHER!  Little bro was so sweet….I could have just taken him home.  Monkey-hair and all!  Haha!  My favourite was his furry little ears.  Smile

This little girl was soooo excited for her baby brother to arrive.  And I think the excitement was contagious!  (Check out this adorable baby bump!)  He was such a little sweetheart…and big sis was so helpful.  I just fell in love with his pouty lips and chubby cheeks.  That is how all babies should be made, I think.  Haha! I met with this couple right at the end of their pregnancy.  We were cutting it so close, that I actually contacted her to confirm that the meeting was still on, and she hadn’t had that baby yet.  We had a great meeting.  Made some plans for the session.  And probably talked too much…as I usually do.  But what was funny, was very shortly after I left…the contractions came on.  And that baby boy was born the very next day.  Good thing we planned our meeting when we did!  But oh…what a cutie!!  I just fell in love with this little guy.  You can see for yourself! Smile

The amount of homemade items this little guy had was incredible!!  And I just loved being able to use so many in our portrait session.  I loved the colours of the Dr. Suess blankets.  So cute!!  If you wish to reserve your very own newborn session, it is best to plan it out while you are still pregnant.  I look forward to hearing from you!  Open-mouthed smile

It’s so hard to believe that 2014 has come and gone already!  I just wanted to take the time to thank all of the wonderful families I was able to spend time with this year.  I appreciate your business…and the fun chats we always seem to have.  I’ve chosen of few of my favourite images from this past year to share with you; and I hope we are able to get together at some point in 2015!  Smile
