LOVE these guys! – Ottawa family photographer

For me, there’s nothing more fun than meeting up with a repeat client.  I feel like I’ve watched these kiddies grow from little beans to the adorable little munchkins they are now.  (Last time I saw this family.)  This little girl has ALWAYS been a handful, and she did NOT disappoint! While her brother was a bit more reserved, but getting a little smile out of him was the biggest reward.  Seriously – this is a MIRACLE family photo.  Both kids smiling at the same time?  And looking super cute while doing it?  LOVE it!!  Open-mouthed smile

Nothing is funnier than trying to get an active 2.5 year old to sit still for 2 seconds while I snap a photo.  And that is what this session turned out to be.  But you can get away with anything when you’re this cute.  Seriously!  Smile

Sweet cheeks – Ottawa family photographer

I was so happy to try out a day of mini sessions this fall.  Well, having to be at the mercy of the weather was very stressful…and after having to reschedule, we ended up with a cool but beautiful day.  It was fun to get together with old clients, and meet new ones – like these guys.  They could have easily posed for a GAP commercial.  Seriously.  Even the little guy was pretty stylin’!  And just check out those cheeks!!  Nothing cuter than that!!  Smile

Love for a furry friend – Ottawa family photographer

I was so happy to hear this family wanted to take advantage of my fall mini sessions this year.  It had been a while since I had seen them.  This little guy was about 4 months old when I met him last.  He was cute then, and still amazingly adorable now!  I don’t know that I’ve met a happier kid.  Just look at his smiles!!

Although I did receive some sad news yesterday.  They wanted to include their dog in the session (although at times it is NOT easy to work with animals).  He was sick, and they wanted to make sure he made it into the family photo.  Well, he passed away last week.  But I’m sure glad we managed to capture some really nice photos with him.  He looks to be smiling in most of them.  Smile  He was such a beautiful dog.  And very much a part of the family….he will be missed.

Rain, rain go away! – Nepean family photographer

I love to get families out to the local parks when the leaves start to change.  It’s such a fun time of year to get into those nice cozy sweaters and cuddle up for a nice family portrait.  Not to mention EXCELLENT Christmas gift ideas!  (I’m talking about Mom’s, Dad’s Gramma’s and Grampa’s – the people who have absolutely everything and just want to stare and your nice sunny faces all day. Winking smile)

I had a blast with these guys.  I’m soooo happy we found some nice fall colours and some great weather to capture this little family of three.  I even had D posing his Mom and Dad at one point.  I’m sure I have molded a great little assistant for future shoots if needed.  Smile
