Baptized – Ottawa baptism photographer

A bit of bad weather was not going to stop this little guy from his day of baptism.  This is my SECOND time meeting up with this family. Just last year big sis had her day.  Now she is being very helpful in getting her brother ready to go.  And what a big help she was!  Shoes stayed on!!  A few quick photos and off to the church to meet up with family and friends for the ceremony.  I loved seeing all the familiar faces – and some new ones as well!  And this cutie…SO good throughout the whole thing.  He just wanted to touch EVERYTHING!!  All I have to say is thank goodness for fake candles!  Smile

Blink – Manotick newborn photographer

There’s nothing better than hanging out with a new baby.  This little guy was no exception.  Although, he was NOT all that interested in sleeping.  He was WAY too interested in what was happening around him.  And who could could blame him? I think all images with his eyes closed were caught during a blink.  Haha!  That is my secret.   Smile

Two thousand and fifteen – Ottawa photographer

January 5, 2016

I can’t believe I am seeing the word January on my calendar.  AND it’s 2016!!  How is that even possible?

I met so many great new families this year…and was able to keep in touch with my fave old ones.  As the kids get bigger, they just get goofier.  (Is that a word?)  All in all, a lot of fun.  I even managed to photograph TWO weddings in 2015.  Which is odd, since I don’t do weddings.  Haha!  I also had two families welcome baby number THREE to the bunch.  Feels pretty darn special to be a part of these growing families.  There’s nothing like that new baby smell.  Or the stories from the older siblings.  I have heard some pretty grand ones this year.  Haha!

Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2016!!  Filled with fun…and hopefully photos!  Camera  Can’t wait to hear from you!  Smile

Minis are here!! – Ottawa family photographer

Fall is here!! Which means it’s time for our annual mini sessions.  Every year I look forward to meeting new people and seeing some old familiar faces. Let’s make it happen!  Please contact for more information or to schedule your spot.

2015 minis

Fall sessions are 20 minutes set up at a local park (TBA), and include one digital image and a Facebook timeline collage.  You will have approximately 10 images to view to make your choices.  Additional digital photos are being offered at a special mini price and prints/products are available for purchase as well.  info@k-photo.ca

TWO baby baptisms! – Orleans baptism photographer

One Year – Stittsville baby photographer

The best part about a family booking a milestones portrait package?  I get to see them ALL the time!! Although, a little bittersweet this time around.  As this was the last in this series.  Both of these munchkins have grown up before my eyes.  Funny to see their little personalities emerging over time.  4 months old…and at 6 months too!  Anyways….these are a few of my favourites of this little guy at 1.  (His big sis too!)  Smile

Oh baby! – Stittsville baby photographer

I just adore those big dark eyes!  And so happy I have been able to spend so much time photographing these cuties.  Little brother was a bit shy for his 6 month session…but gave up some smiles when we got some tickles on that chubby belly.  His big sis was the same.  Always made us work for a smile.  And finally when it was not her turn, we got tonnes of smiles!  Haha!  Isn’t that always the way?  It’s been a few short months since his 3 month session.  I can’t believe how much he’s grown!!  Here’s some of my faves.  Smile

Her special day – Ottawa baptism photography

I so enjoyed spending the afternoon with this family capturing such a special event as a baptism.  I think this baby girl LOVED all the attention she was getting all dressed in her fancy gown.  And then we were off for a celebration dinner at a local restaurant.  I don’t know if I’ve ever seen such an amazing cake. It smelled good too! (Big sister and I tested it out.) Smile
