Baby bump – Stittsville maternity photographer
November 22, 2011I was very happy to have the chance to meet up with this family a few weekends ago. (Even though the weather was NOT looking that great…I was glad that the clouds parted and gave us some sun to work with.) These guys were so much fun, and up for anything! Even when I handed the girls some moustaches! Dad is participating in ‘Movember’ to raise money for Cancer research, and we didn’t want to leave the girls out for the photos. 
The girls are VERY excited for their baby brother to arrive. Could be the BEST Christmas gift EVER! 
I am currently have some spaces available in December, but am mostly booking into the new year. If you would like to book a session, please contact me early to avoid disappointment.

Rain, rain go away! – Nepean family photographer
November 10, 2011I love to get families out to the local parks when the leaves start to change. It’s such a fun time of year to get into those nice cozy sweaters and cuddle up for a nice family portrait. Not to mention EXCELLENT Christmas gift ideas! (I’m talking about Mom’s, Dad’s Gramma’s and Grampa’s – the people who have absolutely everything and just want to stare and your nice sunny faces all day. 
)
I had a blast with these guys. I’m soooo happy we found some nice fall colours and some great weather to capture this little family of three. I even had D posing his Mom and Dad at one point. I’m sure I have molded a great little assistant for future shoots if needed.

November 5, 2011With so much rain this fall, I was wondering if I would EVER have a chance to photograph this family. Luckily we had a great window of opportunity, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day! This little guy was so cute! Just check out those big, bright eyes!

It’s contest time! – Ottawa family photographer

Everyone has had a bad family photo at least ONCE in their lives. Being a photographer myself, I usually am required to place my camera on a tripod, set the timer and make the mad dash to be in the photo. I have ended up with a few gems, but more often than not, I get a complete family photo FAIL!
Oh dear! There are so many things wrong with this photo it isn’t even funny! Well, maybe a LITTLE funny. 
So I have decided to run a contest for people who have had the same issues capturing that awesome family photo.
All you need to do is submit your BAD family photo to me via email at kim@k-photo.ca. (Let’s keep this PG – no nudity or vulgar images please!) You will have until September 15th, 2011 to email me your bad family photos. I will upload them to my facebook fan page and you and all your friends and relatives can vote on which family is in most NEED of a great family photo by LIKING the particular photo.
Please invite everyone you know to vote to better your chances:
- Post the contest on your facebook wall.
- Share my fanpage with all your friends by clicking the “share” on the left hand side.
- A good old fashioned phone call or email works too!!
Voting will continue until 9pm EST on September 23rd, 2011. At that point the winner will be announced right here on my BLOG!
