Nothing I love more than when I see a client is displaying their photos proudly around their home.  As I don’t normally hang out in these families homes in between sessions – I don’t often get to see what they have done with the photos.  Most of the time I will see a nice Fingers+Toes collage.  Or a collection of them showing off ALL the babies.  I might see a larger family photo on display, or a few on a table top.  I always find it interested to see how they have chosen to frame and display the images.  But this is the first time I have seen THIS!!  Apparently the boy in the photo (who is now 2) – thought adding moustaches to his baby photos was HILARIOUS.  Haha!  And I must agree.  So please, feel free to make your photos your own.  Whether it’s how you’ve framed them…or even adding accessories. Winking smile

There’s nothing better than hanging out with a new baby.  This little guy was no exception.  Although, he was NOT all that interested in sleeping.  He was WAY too interested in what was happening around him.  And who could could blame him? I think all images with his eyes closed were caught during a blink.  Haha!  That is my secret.   Smile

All 10 days of him.  Nothing beats that new baby smell.  Nothing!  This little guy did NOT disappoint.  He was so sweet and squishy; I could have snuggled him all day long.  This little guy was not all that interested in napping though.  I guess there was just too many things going on.  He did NOT want to miss a thing!  But those big bright eyes….seriously!! I can’t believe I am seeing the word January on my calendar.  AND it’s 2016!!  How is that even possible?

I met so many great new families this year…and was able to keep in touch with my fave old ones.  As the kids get bigger, they just get goofier.  (Is that a word?)  All in all, a lot of fun.  I even managed to photograph TWO weddings in 2015.  Which is odd, since I don’t do weddings.  Haha!  I also had two families welcome baby number THREE to the bunch.  Feels pretty darn special to be a part of these growing families.  There’s nothing like that new baby smell.  Or the stories from the older siblings.  I have heard some pretty grand ones this year.  Haha!

Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2016!!  Filled with fun…and hopefully photos!  Camera  Can’t wait to hear from you!  Smile

Apparently girls are the way to go for this family.  I guess you can’t have too much of a good thing!  Poor dad, when those teenage years roll around though. Haha!  I have absolutely enjoyed spending time with this family since big sis was just a week old.  And managed to squeeze in a little visit a few months after baby #2 arrived.  Those girls are so cute and funny.  Making my job pretty darn easy.  I mean…who can resist all those blonde curls??  Wonder if lil’ sis will be the same?  Only time will tell. I am so lucky to see some families again and again. Even more exciting when baby number 3 is involved! So much fun hanging out with this crew. They always keep me on my toes!!  Crazy to think I’ve photographed this family since big sis was 10 days old.  And even how much big bro had changed too.  I definitely had a hard time picking favourites of this session.  But this is what I have to share with you today. Aren’t they adorable?? Smile

After much waiting….a new baby SISTER arrived!! And what a little sweetheart too!!  I was amazed at how much she looked just like her big sister as a newbie.  Like…identical!  (Crazy, right??)  I admired mom…able to make a grocery list, help her big girl with a puzzle, and feed a new baby all at once.  It’s all in the job, I suppose!  Luckily I was able to snag the wee little one to get my baby fix in.  Why do they always smell SO GOOD??  Haha!  Smile

Always excited to be asked to be a part of a little one’s special day.  And this little cutie was no exception.  She was so good throughout her entire baptism.  Just taking it all in.  Quite literally at times. Smile

I am very much a name girl.  I am always interested in what makes a person choose to name a baby a certain name.  Is it a family name?  Something you heard on a TV show you liked?  Did the older sibling pick it?  Yes, that does happen!  But either way…it is terribly difficult to commit to something that is basically going to last a lifetime.  And you want to make sure YOU like it.  Well there was some debate going on about this little guy’s name.  Both names that were chosen were so cute; and would suit him either way…in my opinion anyways.  A good compromise?  Use both!  Although mom and dad were still in debates as to which name they would call him by.  I personally think we should just call him cutie!  Haha!  That would suit him just fine.  Just look at that sweet little face!!  And big sister was such a helper.  Totally in love with her little brother.  Smile

So happy to hear of the new addition to this little family.  It had been a while since we last met…about 2 years in fact.  Big sister was quite chatty, and I had so much fun listening to her little stories.  Baby brother was simply adorable.  What more can you ask for?  It was amazing how much the two kids looked so extremely alike as wee babies.  As you can see here. These are a few of my faves I have to share with you. Smile
