I have had my share of dandelion bouquets…or leaves or rocks that seem to find their way home. But my favourite flower is just a simple white daisy. My daughter knows this, and points them out WHENEVER she sees them like she’s seen a rock star or something. Even better when she finds a wild patch and brings one home for me (or two).

I HOPE!! Very happy to be enjoying some actual Spring-like weather. I feel as though we have been spoiled the last few years, and now we are unable to handle a normal Spring! But I’ll take the sunshine! I was even able to actually get outdoors for a portrait session a few weeks ago; and can’t wait to do more.
One of my favourite things about living in Ottawa is getting to see all the Tulips. But somehow I just never time it right. Either I’m too early and they haven’t hardly begun to bloom – or they’re fried in our unusual warm Spring weather. But this year I almost had it right. Almost! Enough for me to capture some nice colourful photos anyways. 
Now is the time to start thinking of booking for summer portraits. Can’t wait to hear from you! And of course, I wish you all a happy and safe long weekend!!
