I LOVE wedding photos, but I am not a wedding photographer.\u00a0 However when a friend of mine asked if I would photograph her VERY intimate wedding and grab a few shots of her and her new hubby (along with their witnesses), I jumped at the opportunity.\u00a0 These two both have the same quirky sense of humour, so I KNEW the wedding day would be a blast!\u00a0 Especially when they discussed some of their ideas with me, and the fact that the groom was wearing a plaid shirt and jeans.\u00a0 The bride just wanted him to look like himself.\u00a0 (Which I just thought was the sweetest thing ever!) \"Open-mouthed<\/p>\n

They had given their family and friends a heads up that they were going to be married \u2013 they just didn\u2019t tell anyone WHEN!\u00a0 The decided day was July 23rd, 2011.\u00a0 We met at the Rockcliffe Park Pavilion<\/a> in the morning in hopes that no one else had the idea of getting married at the same time they did.\u00a0 And aside from a few tourists, we were in the clear!\u00a0 The ceremony was short and sweet, and then we moved on to take a few fun photos.<\/p>\n

I had a great time with these guys.\u00a0 (They even brought their own props \u2013 yay!)\u00a0 Here\u2019s a few I\u2019d like to share with you of the happy couple. \"Smile\"<\/p>\n

Their friends took a photo of the newly married couple to announce to their family and friends that they had tied the knot.<\/p>\n

The bride INSISTED I get a shot of her shoes!\u00a0 (I can\u2019t believe they were actually suede.)\u00a0 \"Winking<\/p>\n
