Every year I manage to make it back to my hometown of Brandon, Manitoba for a few weeks.\u00a0 I get to catch up with family and old friends\u2026and maybe squeeze in a portrait session here and there.\u00a0 I was so excited when a couple of my high school friends announced they would be back in Brandon at the same time and wanted me to photograph their family.<\/p>\n

We ended up with a beautiful day!\u00a0 Well\u2026the grass was a bit crunchy.\u00a0 Funny to think the city of Brandon floods every year \u2013 but by mid summer, no rain at all.\u00a0 Go figure.\u00a0 Anyways\u2026aside from the crunchy grass (and the bugs, of course) \u2013 beautiful day!\u00a0 And the kids were so much fun.\u00a0 Such quirky personalities.\u00a0 I just loved it!! \"Open-mouthed<\/p>\n
