A post to remind you of warmer days.  I have had so much fun with this family over the years.  It’s hard to describe the level of silliness that happens.  But literally, my face hurts once we are finished our annual fall session with these guys.  What I just can’t get over is how this boy’s little sister ADORES him so much!  She looks over to him for his approval in every little goofy she is doing.  And then the giggles!!  Haha!  Often times with kids when things get a little wacky, I need to remind them to keep their tongues in their mouths.  Or pointing sometimes becomes an issue.  (Especially with my own kids!)  But this was the first time I had to ask them to refrain from the “zombie arms”!  In the end, it was so funny – I just went with it, and photographed their zombie impressions.

Now booking newborns and baptisms for 2018!  And as always, you can keep up with all news K Photo and Design by just following along on Facebook or Twitter.  I can’t wait to hear from you!!

I can’t believe I have not seen these guys since their “little one” was ACTUALLY a little one!  But no matter how much time as passed…they are still one goofy bunch!  Haha!  This gal was telling me all about My Little Pony and who her faves were.  She also hinted that perhaps her brother may know them all by name as well.  But he doesn’t want anyone to know that!    He wants us to believe he’s a LEGO Ninjago fan.  So we’ll go with that!   We have come to that point in the year where we need to talk about deadlines.  If you would like to place an order in time for Christmas delivery – December 15th is the last day for digital images.  Or if you need to buy a gift for that person that has everything – gift certificates are available in ANY denomination.  And of course, feel free to be in the know by following along on Facebook or Twitter.  Currently booking family and newborn portrait sessions all the way into the New Year. Can’t wait to hear from you!! info@k-photo.ca

If any one knows me…when I photograph kids and families, I don’t USUALLY pay attention to where I’m going.  I have gotten a sweater stuck in a burr bush.  My hair pulled by a tree.  I’m sure I’ve stepped in mud or something much worse.  But for this particular family, I was crawling around on my knees in the leaves to get the shot I wanted.  This little boy was SO UPSET that my pants had gotten dirty.  He was horrified that I was walking around with leaves dangling from my pant-legs.  He actually came over, and had to pick all the leaves off for me!!  That’s a good kid to have around.  Someone who values being clean.  I swear I should hire him to take care of me.  Haha!  Thanks buddy!!

The holidays are just around the corner.  For those difficult people to buy for on your list – K Photo gift certificates are available in ANY denomination.  I am currently booking right into the new year.  Can’t wait to hear from you!  info@k-photo.ca

Well…I don’t know what it was that put the sparkle in these kids eyes.  But when I asked; I was told: CHEESEBURGERS.  Haha!  So there you have it.  Forget anything that anyone has told you about various different beauty secrets.  Cheeseburgers are the way to go!  I had so much fun with these two.  They definitely kept me smiling. We even had an unexpected visitor join us just as we were finishing up.  A big ole groundhog!  Perhaps that’s why it’s called Hog’s Back Park?

You still have time to book in a session before the holidays.  Not very much time.  But a little.  This white snow is the PERFECT backdrop for any children or family portrait.  Book soon!! info@k-photo.ca  And of course, keep up with what’s happening by following along on Facebook or Twitter

I have a few families that fight for my first AM slot for my annual Fall mini sessions.  But these guys usually win – as Mom is always thinking ahead.  Usually before Summer is over she is contacting me to get going on organizing the sessions.  Haha!  The kids are always so funny.  Goofy, but well behaved.  I always have such a fun time with them.  Mom asked me if I recognized little bro’s sweater – and I DID.  It was worn by his big brother a few years back for the kids fall portraits. They’re so darn cute!!

Currently booking the last little bit of Fall sessions before the leaves are gone for another year.  If you’re interested, let me know! info@k-photo.ca  And as always, you can keep track of what is going on at K Photo and Design by following along on Facebook or Twitter.

Perhaps I’m a bit nosey…but I just love to find out about clients.  Their interests, activities, school, jobs…whatever they want to tell me.  I especially find it fun to find out about my little clients.  WELL….I opened the flood gates when somehow the word “Pokémon” got mentioned.  I’m not sure if this kid took a breath!!  He went on and on about his Pokémon cards, and this one and that one.  My kids were never really into card collecting.  And to be honest, I don’t really get it.  But when I asked him if he had “Pikachu” – it was like we had this weird connection.  I was speaking his language.  Haha!  It was quite funny.  I’m sure he’s was still talking about all his cards in the car on the way home.  As he just didn’t stop!  And this is why I know nothing else about this family – aside from their names…and they are pretty darn cute!  Ha!!  You can see that for yourself though.  Winking smile

Seems like forever since I have seen this amazing family. That sweet little baby is now a rambunctious little boy! I think we all got our exercise for the day.  Haha!  And while it was a little chilly (I guess we needed to run around a bit)…and the leaves didn’t cooperate as we would have liked.  It was sure fun to throw them around at each other!! Here’s a few of my faves to show off today.  Smile

This family is WAY too adorable!  I’ve been lucky enough to photograph both these kiddies from when they were only a few days old.  (Big sis and lil’ bro)  And it’s always a good time when we get together.  The knitted sweaters were the absolute BEST!!  I just love ‘em!! Open-mouthed smile
