I had so much fun with this sweet baby girl. Oh, what we will do for a smile! I swear the song: “Who let the dogs out” has been tarnished for me forever. Funny enough – I think she’s a cat person. But oh well, it got the smiles. And what a beautiful smile she has. I, of course have a few I’d love to share.

FYI: Dad was holding onto her the whole time and was removed in post-production. Safety always comes first!!

This little gal is 5 months old and FULL of expression. A perfect time to book a baby session with K Photo and Design.

Tulips – Ottawa photographer

One of my absolute favourite things about living in Ottawa is visiting the Tulip Festival. We attempt to go every year. But it’s so hard to time it to see the tulips at their best. Either it’s too cold or rainy and those flowers have not fully opened yet. Or it’s been too hot and sunny and they’re on their way to being fried. (Which is what occurred this year.) We did manage to see some beautiful colours though!

As we head into Mother’s Day weekend – I want to wish all moms a very happy day!!

Happy Birthday K Photo and Design!

Three years ago today my third baby was born, K Photo and Design. I have had an amazing time meeting new people and creating great friends. It is such a wonderful experience to see some of these babies grow from tiny little peanuts, to talkers, to walkers. This year was the first year I’m starting to see little siblings coming into this world. And I am so honoured to be called on again to capture these first few days. Also a welcomed chance to catch up with these families again.

Santa baby – Stittsville baby photographer

(I know…it seems as if I am VERY late posting this.) I was extremely excited to hear of this baby boy arriving Christmas morning! I mean, what better gift could there possibly be? A few complications left him in hospital a little longer than expected. But he is now a very happy, healthy, chubby baby boy! And SUPER adorable!! His big sisters just adore him. I had so much fun joining in on the celebration at FAB BABY GEAR this morning. Okay, it was closer to this afternoon…but I’m not sure I would have made it in the door had I gone earlier! The crowds of people were incredible. I loved seeing all the kids walking around with their balloons.

Little munchkin – Nepean newborn photographer

I was so happy to be asked to photograph this little munchkin. I had the pleasure of photographing his big sis as a newbie as well. And it was so much fun trying to pick out the similarities and differences between the two. I find he looks so much like Dad, while she looked very much like Mom. And they are BOTH extremely cute!! This was big sis way back when; and again a few months ago when we met for some pre Christmas maternity and family photos. I just love how laid back and comfortable Mom and Dad are in their parenting roles. It’s always a fun time to hang out while capturing these cuties.

A whole lot to love – Nepean newborn photographer

This has been the largest newborn I have ever photographed to date – at a whopping 11lbs 3oz! But just look at all the chubby baby goodness!! He was so cute and cuddly. And a welcomed addition to a family of all boys. (Even the cat is a boy I think!)

But seriously, don’t you just wanna pinch those pudgy little chubs??
